GRIEF COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES

Unfortunately, it is inevitable that death will touch our community. I strive to advocate for grieving children, families and especially young men of color by increasing awareness within a wide variety of community settings.

I provide grief and trauma education and crisis intervention support to schools, community groups, corporations and other local organizations.

Grief is an unpredictable and unavoidable part of life. Every day, people return to work only days after a major loss, including the death of a spouse, parent, or child.  The workplace has many grief-triggers, which can dramatically affect the work environment.  Both the grieving and their colleagues are in unfamiliar territory and companies often are unsure how to respond in a helpful way. Being sensitive and deliberate in your response can help the entire office cope during such a difficult time.

I bring supportive practices into your organization to better support your employees who are struggling with loss.  Rhee360 offers:

  • Consultation and On-Site Support After a Trauma or Loss:      On-site Bereavement Assistance & Support for Management / Employees within 72 hours of the death.

  • Educational & Program Development Workshops - work to design a Bereavement Policy and Procedures that meet the needs of your company.

  • Lunch ‘n’ Learn for Employees - offer a lunchtime workshop that provides basic information about grief. This can be a one-time seminar or a series.

My “Healing Out Loud: Working While Mourning” program is a

60-minute workshop designed to offer support and practical advice to people within the workforce coping with loss and bereavement.

  • Navigate Workplace Grief – Learn why it’s important for people leaders to be talking about death and grief and support the 1 in 3 people who are currently grieving.

  • Invest in Diversity, Equity + Inclusion – Learn how grief impacts your BIPOC employees differently and how to create a diverse range of support offerings.

  • Cultivate a Resilient Culture – Learn tactics for leveling up your bereavement response and policy, and best practices to support grieving coworkers and employees one-to-one.

The more we can normalize discussions of loss and the resulting grief within the working environment, the healthier the company can become.
